A word from Pastor Lee
**I AM A CONVICTED FELON**
CONVICTED OF MULTIPLE COUNTS OF DRUG TRAFFICKING AND POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO SELL. THIS IS A GLIMPSE OF MY RESTORATION AND WHAT LED ME TO BE ABLE TO HELP OTHERS
I started smoking pot and drinking alcohol around 14 years of age. I was dismissed from my senior year of high school for not making it to class. By that time I had tasted and sold many different types of drugs. Just a couple of years out of high school, I was selling large and small amounts of ecstasy, cocaine, pot, LSD, GHB, mescaline, mushrooms, steroids and prescriptions. I slept little and partied hard. One day a girl said I was killing myself and that I looked like walking death. With tears in my eyes I said, "I don't know how to stop and I can't control it" (a key to deliverance)
For a brief moment I saw who I was. I was a lowlife drug dealer and abuser. I pulled in at an empty church seeking counsel. A maintenance guy said no one was there, but he let me inside to pray. I fell to my knees in tears. Looking up at the ceiling I said, "if you're there do something, I'm tired of living this life"! I screamed, "please help me, I can't stop"! (another key to deliverance) After I couldn't cry anymore, I got up and forgot that it ever happened. I went back to the endless party life with numerous drugs flowing through my veins.
In 2003 I was arrested and immediately I picked up the Bible. I remember songs of praise drew me out to the basketball court where they where having a church service. I looked back at my life realizing that the hospitals, the mental institutions, the drug induced coma and near-death experiences didn't work. I said Father you are the only thing I haven't tried....I SURRENDER ALL! (*The final key to deliverance) At that moment the burden of sin was lifted and my heart was forever changed. On the streets I was in prison and in prison I was made free.
In 2006 while still incarcerated someone asked me if I wanted to be a wastewater operator in prison. The prison was looking for an inmate they could trust, because I would be in the woods running the plant partially unsupervised.
After praying and receiving confirmation from the Most High, I decided to study it as a profession. For two and a half years I stayed in the woods running a wastewater treatment plant . I had my own office and shower and while there I spent my time studying Wastewater, the Bible, and Spanish.
I walked out of prison in March of 2009 pretty much empty-handed, other than a Wastewater license. Shortly after my release I got my drinking water license as well. After a year-and-a-half of no phone calls, interviews, or job possibilities, I finally got the call. I was chosen to manage a brand new 20 million dollar Wastewater project that was still under construction. The mayor of the city was also a preacher. He said he noticed something that stood out on my application. The first thing I said about myself was "The Bible is my faith". He recommended me to the city manager and said, " he's the man for the job".
Here I am six years later. My overhead is the city manager and his only demand of me is, "get it done no matter what it takes". From 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday I'm on the grind. The mission...get it done no matter what it take. I REALLY LOVE MY JOB.
This job caused me to relocate and I found a foreclosed farm on 20 acres completely financed through a government program. After my incarceration I immediately got involved in ministry and prison ministry as soon as I was eligible. In the prison I found men who were serious about their faith, but needed a place to stay. I took in my first homeless man in 2012. This man is still here, has grown exponentially and is a huge asset to the farm.
This ministry came to be known as the Restoration Ranch Ministry. Our focus is the Bible, agricultural, animal care and soon to be nutritional classes. We do not rely on chemicals and believe proper management and nutrition are the key to success. Also, we recently swapped all of our feeds to non GMO (non genetically modified organisms, or food tampered with genetically in a lab)
We are currently saving up to get lawn equipment and pressure washers. Men out of prison have a hard time getting jobs, so we want to create jobs here for them. We will send out crews to mow lawns, pressure wash houses, roofs, driveways, and a mobile car wash. Some might give us a call and get the whole package. These are not random men out of prison. These are men I hand picked who I felt were serious about their faith and had a strong desire to succeed. I keep them involved in Bible study and insure they are active in their faith. If they aren't....they hit the road.
On a different note, I love to travel and speak to churches, youth and various groups. My favorite message is overcoming the fallen nature, based off of Romans 5-8 (this is my specialty). If you would like me to speak, PLEASE contact me. I love to glorify the one who set me free. The Restoration Ranch Ministry is unaffiliated with man's confusion and divisions. We are not looking to build multi-million dollar infrastructure, our interest is building up and edifying his people. We are looking for obedient believers who live by the Saviors word to care for the poor, the sick, the widowed, the orphans and those in prison. If you are led, please join us.
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN LIFE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, EVEN IF YOU HAVE SLID BACK, NEVER PUT DOWN THE BOOK, DON'T BE SCARED TO FALL TO YOUR KNEES AND ALWAYS STAND UP FOR YOUR FAITH.
GET IT DONE, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!!!
